- This might have been asked before but I managed to not read any of it
- until now that I'm trying to use Executive. :(
-
- Anyway, I have been trying unsuccesfully to make Executive not schedule
- any of the AmiTCP processes, including aslip and others, but have not
- been successsful. Executive is somehow scheduling my slip connection,
- so my max transfer rate usually drops from about 1.6-1.8Kps to .5-1Kps!
- I tried to make Executive ignore the following tasks: aslip.device,
- AmiTCP, napsaterm, serial.device, and input.device. The throughput
- increased slightyly after I told it to ignore input.device, but it is
- apparent Executive is still doing some interference as I get long pauses
- in my interactive sessions and ftp sessions that I normally do not get.
- So if anyone has successfully gotten them to coexist please let me know.
- Thanks.
